Summer on the Mind in San Diego
Here in San Diego, we just experienced our first week of the year that broke the 80 degree temperature mark! Summer is on our minds! We want to share our beautiful weather with our meetings and business clients and welcome you. When I moved here 4 years ago from Seattle – it was mostly to escape that rainy weather that can leave you yearning for the sun… A few days in this San Diego weather can cure those spring shower blues!
I work at L’Auberge Del Mar and Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa. Both Hotels offer a unique opportunity to experience the best of San Diego. At L’Auberge Del Mar, summer takes on a new meaning during the Del Mar horse race season! This year’s racing calendar kicks off on July 20th and runs through September 7th. The racetrack is the place to be seen! Those who like to play, gamble, and be seen in sun congregate at the horse races in their summer best. Think sundresses, big hats, and searsucker pinstripes! Where does everyone go after the races for drinks overlooking that amazing Pacific Ocean sunset? L’Auberge Del Mar of course!
