Chef CJ Chambers of the Hamilton Park Hotel is USA’s Conference Center Chef of the Year

Our very own Executive Sous Chef, CJ Chambers, has brought home the title of Best Conference Center Chef in the United States and we could not be more proud. His tireless effort and innovation in the kitchen deserves endless accolade and praise. The Hamilton Park Hotel is fortunate to have a professional such as CJ and we are eager to see him raise the bar even higher as he travels to La Torretta Lake Resort & Spa in Montgomery, Texas to represent the United States of America and compete for Global Conference Center Chef of the Year.

Local, organic, sustainable products are a favorite of CJ’s and are implemented flawlessly into his personal style of cooking, which can be described as a fusion of Latin and Asian flavors with a classical cooking technique. His winning dish emulated his passion for classical cuisine as he prepared French-cut Chicken Breast stuffed with apple and baby spinach served with Italian parsley, cous cous topped with King Crab and Savoy cabbage slaw and finished with a Lemon Thyme Chardonnay reduction.

We wish CJ all the best as he prepares for his upcoming final competition in March. We know he will represent The Hamilton Park Hotel as well as Destination Hotels & Resorts spectacularly as he battles chefs from around the globe for the world title!
