I recently worked with a group of professionals from a healthcare company going through a transition in leadership who raved about their experience with some of Santa Fe’s most gentle residents … the horses. The EQUUS Experience allowed the new leader and the existing senior managers to break down barriers and shed light on their organization and the transition that was taking place.
The Equus Experience is a creative, playful, yet remarkably powerful approach to leadership, teambuilding, and personal and professional development. Why Horses?
Horses are consummate facilitators. They have an innate capacity to feel the intention of those around them, as well as to connect with others whom they trust. By offering direct, immediate and unbiased feedback, they are excellent companions in the exploration of powerful non-verbal realms of communication, relationship, intention, authority, self-understanding and leadership. Horses invite us into more authenticity, grounded in being present with ourselves, our co-workers, family, friends, and life itself.
Important note: No horse experience is necessary; no riding is involved.
