This June, FICP will hold their annual Educational Forum in Charleston, S.C., and Wild Dunes Resort is excited to sponsor the event and host their Welcome Reception at our oceanfront event venue, The Grand Pavilion - a picturesque covered gazebo with panoramic ocean views and gentle ocean breezes, lined by pastel-hued homes and lush palms  – reminiscent of downtown’s historic charm.

It is an exciting time to be working in the city of Tempe! Within the past year, it seems like a new business has opened its doors every week, and a new office building pops up every month. Drive along the Rio Salado Parkway, and it looks like downtown Tempe changes daily! In fact, over 300 technology-based firms, and 3,000 finance, insurance, and real estate companies call Tempe “home.”

Have you heard of the term FICP before?

It essentially means doing business with those that support your business. A little along the lines of paying it forward, I guess.

On February 15, 2012, Lansdowne Resort entered a new era as the AAA Four-Diamond property near Washington, DC, joined the national portfolio of Destination Hotels & Resorts. The nearly 500-acre resort is about 40 minutes west of the Nation’s Capital and only eight miles away from Dulles International Airport (IAD), strategically located in Loudoun County – one of the most affluent and fastest-growing locations in the country.

The comfort of a bed is not the only important thing at a hotel. At Hamilton Park we also consider the comfort of our meeting space. Changing a meeting environment to enhance thought process, create community and stimulate good conversation is essential to a successful meeting. How do we accomplish that? We create a comfortable meeting space with our flexible meeting room sets. And by this, I am not referring to switching from classroom to u-shape.

I have an insurance incentive group arriving in a couple of weeks that really wanted to experience a truly unique Vermont dining experience. Together, we discussed our Farm to Table experience at Stowe Mountain Lodge where we bring in local cheese makers, farmers, and wine makers to be on hand to answer questions from attendees and talk about their products.  While Farm to Table is not uncommon these days, our groups have had a lot of fun getting to interact, share, and learn from our local food partners. It humanizes the plate and breaks down the distance between local producer and visiting consumer.
